Dear Friends and Customers,

We want to thank the Lord for one of the best events ever. We are so grateful for everyone who attended. We hope you had a wonderful time.
Walter Floriani and Kathy Quinn did an excellent job. I heard so many people comment how much they learned about embroidery.
The first time I heard Walter Floriani, he taught me a lot. When we first started embroidery there was no one who really knew a lot about it. When Walter got through teaching it was like the light bulbs turned on BIG TIME. Walter even digitized designs for customers they were having trouble with. Everyone who he digitized their designs for HAD to buy the Floriani Software!
Walter did such a good job explaining it. I said "Can we keep you forever?" He said "Click here". They have all these wonderful classes built into the software on How To Use It. Kathy Quinn really related to all us ladies. She did a good job teaching software too. She made it so easy to understand.
Both Kathy and Walter did a terrific job explaining stabilizers and how to use them. Kay Brooks from Floriani products worked with a chemist to develop the different stabilizers that we use. The water soluble stabilizer has silicon in it so the needle goes up and down and doesn't tear up the stabilizer and gives you a wonderful stitch out.
Kathy also told how she loves her 6 needle machine. She uses it all the time when she's home.
Susan Zellers did such a good job explaining the new BabyLock Ellisimo. A lady came up from the audience before she was done and bought one. We sold every Ellisimo we took to the show and had to order more. We sold every new 8 thread Evolution serger we took to the show and had to order more!
We broke records on sales for Walter Floriani's software. It is so easy to use. It gives you the best of both - the industrial and home side of embroidery.
We sold several Embroidery Professionals. I love our 6 needle machine with the big screen and the lights that stay on all the time. We have a lot of people trade their old 6 needle machines in on the new one. They all love the new features. The stitch quality on the Embroidery Professional cannot be topped. IT IS EXCELLENT!
Why not come by Ruthies Notions in Baker, Florida and try one out today. You will LOVE it!
Don't miss an event at Ruthies. You will love them. We have a wonderful schedule of classes planned for you.

Love Always and Forever,

Ruthie

P.S. If you missed buying the Floriani software at the event, you can still buy it for the
special price of $1599 and get your FREE 100 spools of Floriani thread worth $599.

We also have the best specials ever on Elissimo's and Evolution Sergers and BMP 9's.

Dear Friends and Customers,

Has the economy of the nation got you down? Why not look at ways to make yourself some money. We have the Baby Lock Embroidery Professional 6-needle embroidery machine you can really make money at home or add income to your existing business.

One of our customers made makeup bags out of a dollar hand towel and sold over 3000 of them for $12 a piece. They only took about 15 minutes to do the embroidery and sew them up. Another customer is doing patches for services men. Another customer is going to market buying purses, luggage and other products you can embroider and sell. For example, she is buying a bag for $3.00 and selling embroidered for $18.00.

Pray diligently and ask God for his wisdom and understanding to help you help you and your family grow a wonderful business. Always don’t forget to be grateful to God for all He does for you and yours everyday. He is an awesome God. The Bible says, He inhabits the praises of His people. How special is it when someone takes the time to thank you or writes a note of thanks. Try being more thankful to God everyday, even when the bottom falls out. You will be amazed each day as you realize His blessing even in the midst of suffering and pain. One day, the Bible says, our suffering will be counter balanced with an exceeding weight of glory and if we are not willing to drink His cup we are none of His. God said his grace is sufficient his strength is made perfect in weakness. Aren’t you glad we have a God who loves us so much He gave His only son who willingly laid down His life for us and paid for our sins so we could live in heaven with God and His son Jesus forever.

The way things are coming to pass in the world today I don’t believe it will be much longer until he takes us home. Even if it’s another 1000 years I want to be ready when it is my time to go. I pray everyday and spend time with the Lord in prayer. He is my most precious friend. Why not ask Him into your heart today. You will be sooo thankful you did!

April 2009

Dear Friends and Customers

I will be 58 this birthday, April 4th. So many of our customers are retiring we have a lot of young customers too! So many people when they think nobody wants to hire you because of your age don’t let it get you down. There are so many ways you can make money with embroidery and sewing. I have lots of customers who work full time jobs, even 2 jobs and still do embroidery. With children in school and especially college you need all the extra income to help out. The Bible says, “idle hands are the devil’s workshop.” I love to be busy and pray I can keep going and working till the Lord takes me home. Moses was able to go till he was 120 years old. He still had good eye sight.

We need to teach our children and our wonderful grandchildren how to embroider and sew. My little granddaughter Sarah loves to make baby blankets on the serger. This summer we want to offer some classes on basic sewing for children. Watch our calendar for these classes. Also I am planning some basic sewing and embroidery classes for people of all ages.
Maybe all your life you wanted to do your own little business. Come by Ruthie’s Notions (Ruthie Wood) and get started today. We are here to help you. When I was a little girl walking to Sunnyside grade school I said in my heart I wanted to sew and make clothes. God heard my prayer. I have designed clothes for expensive boutiques across the United States and did over $40,000 worth of orders for a big retail store one year.
We have helped and encouraged so many people to start successful businesses or added to the business they already have. This last month, Feb 2009, was our 22nd year in business. I love our Baby Lock machines. Our Ultimate Exclusive package offers you the best machines possible to start a wonderful business or just enjoy sewing and embroidery and make wonderful gifts for your family and friends.
One of my customers is making a beautiful wall hanging with special Bible verses for a nursing home she ministers at. There are so many possibilities, just ask God today to help use your talents for him. I want to be like the person he gave ten talents to and make more talents than you can imagine.
I don’t want to be like the one who buried his talent and was cast out into outer darkness. Use what you have in your hand. I started sewing on a pawn shop machine. My first set of good machines I paid about $38 every 2 weeks till I got them paid for and could have paid them off in a year. That’s why we try to help our customers. We offer all these wonderful classes. We train you how to use your machines. We give you lots of extras to help get you started. We offer excellent financing to qualified buyers. My neighbor, Mrs. Moore, Mrs. Helm and the preacher’s wife taught me how to sew when David was a baby. I made most of his clothes so I could be a stay at home mom. He didn’t know he didn’t have name brand clothes. I would not take anything for the time we shared together growing up. Now David, my only child helps me with this business. I am very grateful for all his help. I am so blessed to be able to work with my family. You can too! Why not start today.

Love Always and Forever
Ruthie

PS. I can make a shirt in 10 minutes on the serger. Come by Ruthie Wood and I’ll show you how. Remember we all need God’s forgiveness. The only one who never sinned was Jesus. The Bible says, all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. I am so grateful that God gave His only begotten son that who so ever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Please read John 3:16 today and invite the Lord Jesus into your heart today. You will be thankful you did. Love Ruthie

August 2008

Dear Friends and Customers,

Cody is one of the most precious gifts from God he ever gave us as grandparents. He has given us so much joy and happiness. His hard work and dedication is beyond anything I've ever seen in my life. Cody and his Dad, David Barnhill, put their whole hearts into preparing for the motorcycle races at Loretta Lynn National Races in Hurricane Mills Tennessee this past week.

I've never seen anyone not let the circumstances get them down like Cody and David did. During one race his motorcycle would hardly go because they had gotten some bad fuel that messed up the bike. He finished last, but he hung in there and did the best he could. In another race he was last out of 42 riders but moved up to position 15. He finished 23rd and 21st in two other races. During the very last race my precious Cody wrecked out of the starting gate. His face shield got messed up and his handlebars were bent crooked. His Dad straightened the handlebars the best he could and Cody stayed in the race for all 8 laps. His knee hurt him some and his face had sand and dirt on it from the fall but he hung in there and didn't quite, finishing the race.

I have never seen such hard hard work and dedication from anyone. For being only 11 years old it took tremendous courage and hard work to endure the long grueling hours of practice for the races. Cody did an excellent job along with his Dad. They love each other very much and their passion for dirt bike racing has bonded their hearts thru God's abundant blessing and mercy. God protected him, kept him safe and gave him and his Dad great courage to accomplish this event.

No words can ever express my gratitude to God for an awesome week with my family at Loretta Lynn National Races in Hurricane Mills Tennessee.

Cody's Mom and Nana went. Sarah had a ball. I think she ate 50 frozen pops. She and Paw Paw, Willie D, caught a bunch of minnows and little baby crawdads in a creek by the camper. We are so blessed and thankful to God. We just bless him and thank him for all his goodness and mercy to me and my family this week.

Thank you all, our friends and customers for your many prayers for Cody and our family. We appreciate you all very much. It is priceless beyond words, God's gifts to us this week. Thank you all again.

Love Always and Forever,

Ruthie & Family

 June 2008

The Return of Christ & The Feast of Trumpets
(Provided by a special friend of Ruthie)

Is the Lord Jesus soon to return? Jesus told His disciples that at the “end of the age” certain signs would occur simultaneously with increasing intensity and frequency in the manner that a pregnant woman has more frequent and strong contractions as her labor approaches.  These signs would include:

     - Earthquakes in various places around the world
     - Famine
     - False messiahs
     - Infectious agents causing death and disease
     - Wars and “rumors of war”
     - Ethnic groups within nations fighting each other
     - Strange weather patterns (hurricanes, etc.) -- “the seas roaring”
     - Great “perplexity” and anxiety in the people worldwide

The Lord concluded by adding,

“When you shall see all these things, know
that it is near, even at the doors.”--
 Matthew 24

In addition, Jesus predicted another important “marker” for the end-times:  The return of Jerusalem into Israeli hands.

In fact, Jesus states the “generation” which is alive at that time will see His return to earth. Jerusalem became part of Israel in 1967 after the Six-Day War. A biblical generation is approximately 50 - 51 years, according to scholars.  Therefore this prophesied “end-times” generation would go up to year 2018 at the latest for Christ to return to begin His reign for “a thousand years.”

Close inspection of the Old and New Testaments reveal that there will be a horrendous, seven-year period of worldwide judgment preceding the return of Christ -- known as the Tribulation period, the final 3 1/2 years called the “Great Tribulation.” During this time period, one-half the earth’s population will be killed (through war, famine, pestilences, nuclear exchange, perhaps an asteroid strike, etc.). That means around 3 billion will die.

BUT -- true believers in the Lord Jesus will be spared going through this Tribulation by being suddenly snatched away, in the “twinkling of an eye.” This sudden disappearance of believers is called the Rapture. This dramatic event will be signaled by the blast of a trumpet from Heaven. The biblical texts are found in 1 Thessalonians 14:15 and 1 Corinthians 15:52. People who have already died as believers will emerge from the graves and be reunited with their bodies. Those of us who are still alive will be “caught up” alongside them to meet the Lord Jesus in the clouds and then be transported with Him to Heaven. We will miss the Tribulation and its horror and mass destruction of the planet. We will miss the fierce one-world ruler or modem-day “fuehrer” known as the Anti-Christ, who is undoubtedly alive and waiting in the political wings to assume power. He will arise most likely from the “revised” Roman Empire (as predicted in the Book of Daniel) or the European Union.

When will the rapture take place? Jesus said that “no man would know the day or hour” of His return. But He did instruct us to learn of the appropriate “signs” of the times and be always ready and watching for His return. He provided many biblical “clues.” One of those clues include the seven Israeli “Feast Days.” These feasts or “Feasts of the Lord” seem to be God’s timepiece or divine calendar in which he does spectacular things.

Jesus already fulfilled four of the seven Jewish Feast Days given to Moses in the desert. He celebrated the Passover meal on Thursday evening, since their “day” begins at sundown. His body was broken and crucified on the Passover morning/afternoon as the “Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world.” He fulfilled the Feast of Unleavened Bread the next day, as Jesus called Himself the “Bread of Life.” Jesus rose from the dead on the Feast of First Fruits or the springtime offering of “new life to God. We call it Easter.

The Holy Spirit swept down on the disciples and followers in the upper room on Pentecost day. This infilling made them bold witnesses for God.  There are three feasts yet to be fulfilled:

     - The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah)
     - The Atonement (Yom Kippur)
     - Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot)

Since Jesus literally fulfilled each of the Israeli feasts to the very day during His first appearance, it seems logical that He will also fulfill His “second coming” on these forthcoming festival days. These feasts are autumn feasts, usually in September-October of our calendar. Historically they took place at the end of the harvest. With this reasoning, the Feast of Trumpets is most associated with the Rapture.

This year it is scheduled from sundown 29 September - 30 September 2008. This feast is always heralded by the sounding of trumpets. In ancient days, the priest would stand of the Temple parapet and several blasts of the “shofar” or ram’s horn would occur.

During the day both Israeli and Arabs would be working in the fields. When the trumpet sounded, the Israelite would immediately drop his harvesting tools and head to the Temple for the Feast. The Arab, of course, would remain in the field, not concerned with this religious festival.

Thus the words of Jesus come to life: “Two will be in the fields; one will be taken, the other left behind.”

The Feast of Trumpets is the only feast that occurs during the new moon. The others are set by month and day.
Since one could not know precisely when the first sliver of “new” moon would occur but knew the general time period in which it would occur, the workers in the field and town had to be always be on-guard for the sound of the trumpet. Two reliable witnesses had to be on the lookout for the new moon and then signal the Temple priest to sound the rain’s horn. But one could not really know the hour or the day when the Feast would begin. The new day began at sundown but the celebration could begin only with the blowing of the trumpet. It could happen day, noon, or night.

Thus the Feast of Trumpets was known to the people at that time as the “feast when one could never know the day or the hour” feast. So when Jesus told his disciples that they would not know the day or the hour of His return, He was really telling them when he would return! At the Feast of the Trumpets! His phrase was a type of “inside information.”

Since the Rapture is a simultaneous worldwide event, people around the world will be in different time zones and different -- though concurrent -- time periods. The Rapture on Rosh Hashanah in Jerusalem at 10 p.m. of 29 September 2008 would actually be 8 hours earlier (or 2 p.m.) but would be a different hour or even day in Australia or China .

One can only know the approximate two-day period -- but not know precisely the “day” or the “hour” that the Lord whisks believers away. Paul wrote in the “twinkling of the eye” passage (1 Car. 15:52) that the Rapture would be “at the last trump.” According to Theodore Gaster’s book, “Festivals of the Year” of Judaism, there are three named trumpets:

     - First trump
     - Last trump
     - Great trump

The “first trump” is blown on Feast of Pentecost (Exodus 19:19). The “last trump” is connected with Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets). The “great trump” is sounded on Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). Jesus is expected to fulfill this Feast Day at the end of the Tribulation period when He physically returns to earth.

Thus Paul seems to have been speaking of the Rosh Hashanah when he wrote of the Rapture:

“We shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of
the eye, at the last trump, and the trumpet shall sound
... we
     shall all be changed.”

Lunar and Solar Eclipses

Throughout Scripture the end-times and the “Day of the Lord” are also associated with signs in the heavens, moon, and sun. In Old Testament prophets such as Joel and Isaiah, the Lord’s return to earth is marked by “the sun turning dark and the moon will give no light.” Another passage refers to the moon become “blood red.” A lunar eclipse is also known as a “blood moon.” The light rays of the sari glance though the moon’s shadow, leaving refractive changes as a crimson or purple-red crescent-shaped sliver of light as seen to the earth observer.

“The earth shall quake before them; the heavens
shall tremble: the sun and moon shall be dark... the
day of the lord is great and very terrible...”
                                                                   -
Joel 2:10,11

“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the
moon into blood, before the great and terrible
    day of the Lord come...”

-Joel 2:30

Many modem prophecy scholars have interpreted these events to be related to a “nuclear winter” from atomic warfare or perhaps from the atmospheric ash formed by erupting volcanoes or an asteroid strike. But a simpler explanation can be the common occurrence of eclipses of the sun and moon. However, eclipses occurring on the Jewish holy days or Feast Days is uncommon. Since God uses His feasts as prophetic days, it is possible that He also signals world events with them. Four lunar eclipses and two solar eclipses will occur in the Jewish year of 2014/2015. They all will take place on Jewish holy days. The four lunar eclipses (called a “tend”) will occur on the Passover in April of 2014 and April 2015, as well as on the Feast of  Tabernacles in October 2014 and September 2015.

This tetrad of lunar eclipses on Feast days will not occur again this century, or, in fact, for several more centuries. The last time a tetrad of lunar eclipses took place was in 1967/68 -- the year that Jerusalem returned to Israel -- an obviously crucial day in prophecy. Another 4-lunar eclipse period occurred in years 1949/50 -- the year after Israel became a nation again. It seems that God has been using these multiple lunar eclipses as “signals” or “signs” for “big” events that occur in Israel .

What is God telling His people that will happen in the years 2014/15? There are two solar eclipses, the first on Nisan 1, 2015, which is the beginning of the religious festival cycle. The second is on 13 September 2015, on Rosh Hashanah, or Feast of Trumpets.

Significance:

During the Jewish year of 2014/15, the sun will become “darkened” twice and the moon will “not give its light” four times. If the Lord, physically returns on Yom Kippur (as prophesied in Zechariah, etc.) in the fall of 2015, His appearance is at the conclusion of the seven- year Tribulation period. Therefore the Rapture of believers must take place seven years prior to His revelation to the nations. Seven years subtracted from fall 2015 yields a fall of 2008 as a possible “season” of the Lord’s catching believers away. Thus this year’s Rosh Hashanah of Feast of Trumpets could be the long- awaited event!

It is 29-30 September 2008....

We do not know the “day or hour,” but remember that the Feast of Trumpets is the nicknamed the “not know the day or hour feast.” It is celebrated over a two-day period. Jesus said in the Gospel of Matthew (24:29)

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun
Shall be darkened, and the moon shall not
give her light...”

The Lord also stated in Luke 21:25,

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and the moon,
and the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations,
with perplexity; the seas and the waves roaring...”

It’s best we prepare for the Lord’s return -- whether this year or in a hundred years!

Dear Friends and Customers

We are so thankful for all Gods blessings. He has been so good to each and everyone of us if we first stop and realize what He means to us in our heart of hearts. He said he would be a friend that sticks closer than a brother. When our mother or father forsake us He would adopt us as His own. Take time to love your family. I know myself sometimes I get so busy it's hard to focus on what's really important.

Take time and bake some cookies with your grandbabies or your children. Try doing something special for someone else. I love embroidery and sewing. You can make gifts that touch someone's heart. There are so many ways we can be a blessing to our family and friends if we just take the time and try. Don't forget the most important one to bless is God.

Psalm 103 says to, "Bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me. Bless His holy name." Please read the whole Psalm and it will be a blessing to you.

We are so appreciative of each of our friends and customers. We pray God's most precious and abundant blessing on each of your always.

Love Always and Forever,

Ruthie

Dear Friends and Customers

"This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it." Every morning when I wake up I quote this scripture. Mr. Hinder from Baby Lock (Tacony Corp.) told me he also quotes it everyday. Even when the storm was coming I said it. It gives you hope.

Each day is a very special day from God. There are so many reasons to be thankful if you just sop and think about it. The other day I was riding over the bridge to Destin, I saw the most beautiful sunset over the water. The sun light was so beautiful on the water, it was like a beacon of God's love coming down from Heaven. The more you slow down and just be thankful, the more you will find yourself feeling so much better and encouraged in your heart of hearts. God is so gracious to give us the breath we breathe. Recently my precious friend Pearl Green went home to glory. She couldn't see very well so she had to be so thrilled to be able to see all the beauty in Heaven. I look forward to the day we will get to actually see the Lord and behold Him in His glory.

Until then I pray we are all ready to go to Heaven when it's our time and dwell with Him forever. I am just occupying till that time and pray that I have plenty of oil in my lamp when the call is given and what we do here is pleasing to Him.

We appreciate you so much and we are thankful for each of you. We pray you are blessed with God's most precious blessing forever, even beyond words.

Love Always & Forever

Ruthie

Special Thoughts from My Heart.

Our hearts are so heavy for the suffering all around us. As each day comes and goes please remember these people in your prayers. If we each try to do what God lays on our heart to help, it will be a blessing. You may think "what I do is so little," but what you do does matter! It is such a wonderful feeling to see the whole world pulling together to help us.

The United States has helped so many countries in their time of need. So many of our men and women have given their lives to help them. We are such a blessed nation. Let us not forget to be so thankful to God for his love. It is his love in our hearts that will help us through the days ahead. It's easy to praise the Lord when you win the lottery. How much more important is it to be thankful for all the blessings He has given us everyday that money cannot buy.

To be able to see all the beautiful things He has created for us. Our Children are such an incredible blessing from God. The Lord said, "unless we are like little children we will no wise enter the Kingdom of God." We can learn so much from the children. My grandchildren have taught we so much about the Lord and His love for us. They don't hold grudges, they love you unconditionally (even though sometimes we're not so nice). God's agape love, loves us at our best or worse, His love doesn't change. We break His heart by some of our choices, but He longs for us to love Him unconditionally too.

Our hearts prayer for all of you is that when it's our time to go home, our lives will please Him and bring joy to His heart, and we'll all hear Him say, "enter into the blessedness of the Lord forever!" Live each moment like it's your last. It may be! Only God knows when the end will be, not even Jesus knows this. With all our heart felt love for each of you, may you be blessed forever with God's most precious blessing that no amount of money in heaven or earth can ever touch.

With Love Always,

July 2006

We not only try to keep our prices excellent, when you buy a machine you will be so pleased with all the goodies you'll take home with your new machine. We want to be sure you have the threads, stabilizers, and many other goodies to get you started right.

Embroidery has changed so many lives and given people an opportunity to start a business at home or in a shop. If you don't want to start a business right away, you can make beautiful gifts for people you love. A lot of our customers love sewing for their children and grandbabies. Many of our customers love designing drapes, pillows, quilts and other home decorating items. The possibilities are endless!

One of my favorite and most precious reasons I love these sewing machines is they let you be so creative. You can design portraits and thread painting with our software. I love making one of a kind originals. There is so much joy when you create something that makes others happy. Some of my most precious items are pictures and things my son and grandchildren made for me. They mean more than a famous painting would. Remember there's only one of you. Nobody has your special gift - use what God has given you for his glory.

One of my customers said she loves making inspirational gifts for people. There are so many people we can help with our sewing. My Mama had Alzheimer's but she loved watching the machines embroider.

We make lots of blankets for children in ICU at Scared Heart hospital in Pensacola and other places around our community including Ronald McDonald House. One mother gave her blanket to another mother to wrap her baby in that went to heaven.

Do the best you can to help others, you will be so glad you did. Remember it is more blessed to give than to receive. I always say I like to cast my bread on the water all the time, then it will start coming back on every wave. Its like a garden. You prepare the ground, you plant seeds, take care of it and pray it does good. You will be rewarded for your effort. You don't just throw a tomato seed on the ground and pick tomatoes the next day. Our labor is not in vain in the Lord, in due season you will reap if you faint not. Study God's words, you will love it. It has helped me and blessed me to know more about God and his immeasurable love, you cannot even begin to measure.

Love always and forever

Dear Friends & Customers,

I just want to take time to let you know how much we appreciate you. We are so thankful for the response we have had to the classes so far this year. We have a new updated schedule & are working hard to bring you some wonderful classes. Always check here on our calendar page and join our Yahoo Group to stay up on what's happening at Ruthie's in Baker, Fl.

The Lord has been so good to all of us. One of my customers this week said she blessed the Lord all day long. One of my favorite and most important scriptures is "Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything GIVE THANKS for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." I Thessalonians 5, 16:17: 18.

We can be so busy with our lives we forget who gave them to us. We can do good works continually, but if it's not done with the love of God in our hearts we might as well not do anything. It is so easy to be thankful when everything is going good. But when you don't know how you are going to pay your bills or a family member is in a crisis start praising God. He loves it when we remember to praise and thank Him continually. The more you praise the Lord your heart will feel lighter and your problems won't seem so over whelming. Don't you love for some one to thank you when you help them? God gives us the breath we breathe.

We each have different suffering to walk through in life. If we let God He will comfort us beyond any words anyone could speak to you. He dwells in our hearts. Open the door to your heart and invite him in. You will be so glad you did.  If you are not willing to suffer for the sake of Jesus Christ the bible says, we're none on His.

We each have our own cross to bear, but He will help us. He said to cast our burdens on Him and He will sustain us. He will never let you down. Trust Him. He watches over His Word to perform it. Heaven and earth will pass away, but God's word will stand FOREVER!

Love Always & Forever,
Ruthie

P.S.

Be ready, watching and praying always to be counted worthy to escape what's coming on the earth. Be alert, the Lord is coming soon! I want to be like one of five virgins in the bible who had plenty of oil in her lamp when the call was given at midnight. They were ready to go. During the hurricane I ran out of batteries. I had to go everywhere trying to find some. Would you believe everybody was sold out? Don't be left here! Be ready, saturated in the oil of the Holy Spirit so when the Lord descends with a shout the voice of the Arch Angel and the Trumpet call of God we are out of here on our way to His arms. Praise God forever. We are saved because Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior gave his life for us if we only believe in Him. (Read John 3:16)

P.S. Remember to read Psalm 91 everyday. It will be such a blessing to you. It has helped me through so many days when I really needed help and comfort.

July 2006

Dear Customers and Friends,

At Ruthie's Notions we have excellent sewing machines, sewing products and excellent prices. Remember, the lowest price may not always be the best, especially if there's little or no support and service after the sale. At Ruthie's we offer one-on-one training on all the machines and software we sell. We have some of the best classes and most talented teachers in the industry. Most of our classes are free. We have people come from all over the USA to buy their machines from us.

We love what we do. We're not just out to take your money and forget you. We are here to help you learn how to use your sewing/embroidery machine and get the most out of them. Each of us have different needs and goals. We are here to help you do your best, be creative, and learn, learn, learn.

Ruthie

P.S.  I started Ruthie's Notions in the bedroom of my home, my sewing room. We are now the 2nd largest Baby Lock dealer in the USA. My friend use to tell me small beginning, large ending. I said, sure look at us now. Work hard, God blesses hard work. Don't forget to pray everyday, praise and thank God for his blessings on you and yours because you love Him.

The more you come to Ruthie's the more you will love it. You will make so many new friends. We have lots of husbands and wives who have started businesses and are doing great with them or just having fun with their new machines. They love to come to classes and learn how to help their business grow, get ideas for new items they can make, how to market what they sell, or learn new places to order wholesale.

Some of the classes focus on how to get the most out of your machines and software other are hands-on classes where you actually finish a project and take it home with you. We had a class on making little girl dresses out of pillow cases and over 20 ladies came to class. They loved it so we're going to do a few more of these classes.

Most of our classes are FREE and you get the project kit you need to create the item you are learning to design. This is our way of helping you get the most of your priceless investment. Once you start using them and exploring new possibilities you never thought you could do, you'll learn how to improve your sewing skills, learn new techniques that will help you and so, so much more. There's only a few classes we charge for. So far they have been worth the money for the knowledge they provide. For the hands-on classes you only need to bring your machine, accessories, and sewing kit (scissors, thread, needles, etc.).

At Ruthie's Notions we offer some of the best package deals on machines and software. It is worth the drive to come to Baker, FL and see us. We have people who come from everywhere to buy their machines from us. We schedule one-on-one classes to ensure you get the most from your machine and software.

Remember, "This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118, Verse 24. Each day is a new gift from God. Use it for His glory
